Welcome to Prachee Restaurant Keele
About us:
My name is Ali, the manager at Prachee Restaurant Keele. I don’t know how far Prachee will progress but I intend to do my best! I have more than 10 years of experience in the world of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. From my point of view, I think the main aspect in food is how tasteful and creative it is. This is why I have worked alongside our chef to create a variety of special dishes that are out of the norm. In my restaurant, I and my staff believe that the food and hygiene rules are an important factor in working in a restaurant.
We are situated on the Keele Golf Centre site. I have chosen this location as it has a mixture of great views and great people to socialise with. The restaurant overlooks 18th hole of the course and I can proudly say that there is not another restaurant in Staffordshire with a view as unique as ours.
Why Bangladeshi and Indian you may ask? I am of Bangladeshi decent which explains the range of fish dishes as Bangladesh is well known for its richness and variety of fish dishes. I have also chosen Indian because it is a style I am very familiar with and also because of the fact that most of the Bangladeshi dishes mix with Indian dishes quite well.
I hope you agree with me when I say that I believe that Indian cuisine is probably one of the best styles of food, if not the best. I hope that Prachee can deliver the mouth-watering flavours of the Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine that is expected to standard that pleases the customer.
Thank you for visiting our website and I hope to see old and new faces in the restaurant in the near future!
What DOES “Prachee” mean?
This question has arisen by quite a few customers’ recently. The word “Prachee” means “to do with the East” OR simply “Eastern”. It is originally a Bengali word.
